If one of your Major Organs were to diseline with another depending on how important it is serious things could happen to you and if they are really important you could die. System Functions

The Structure and Function of the Digestive System. First comes the Mouth then Esophagus next the Stomach then the small Intestine, Pancreas, Liver, Gallbladder, Colon, Rectum, Anus. The Mouth is the beginning of the Digestive System. In order to Digest your food your mouth produces saliva to make it liquefied. Then the Esophagus which is in the throat is where the food goes after its been liquefied the Esophagus gives food to the stomach. When the stomach gets the food the Stomach is basically the container of your food until the acid breaks your food down. The small intestine is made up of three parts the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum. The pancreas breaks down protein, fats, and carbohydrates. The Liver also keeps you Healthy and detoxifies harmful chemicals and breaks down drugs. So its like your Kidney's. The Gallbladder helps the duodenum absorb fats. The Colon connects the small intestine to the rectum. The Rectum is a chamber that connects the colon to the anus. The Anus is a 2 inch long canal that gets rid of all the diseases.
